All furcons can use volunteers.
Sure, some of the tasks aren't the most exciting, but you also have opportunities to socialize with the Staff. Depending on how many hours you accumulate, you can earn rewards, and ultimately being appointed a Staff position in the long run. That's how I got where I am, now. I started as A/V volunteering, then crossed into Registration. It's hard work - you do give-up some enjoyment time working, but you get some benefits and you're helping better the con experience for all. Luckily, just volunteering, you can put in however many hours you want.
